Twenty-Six Wineries Join Jose Peñín to Present Peñín Guide 2007 to Wine Media and Trade Professionals at Exclusive New York Event

Madrid, Spain and New York, New York, April 12, 2007 - Leading Spanish wine journalist Jose Peñín joined twenty-six of Spain's most exciting emerging wineries for an exclusive presentation at the W Hotel Union Square in New York today.  The event marked the U.S. launch of the Peñín Guide to Spanish Wine 2007, the most widely-read Spanish wine book in the world.

To mark the occasion, José Peñín led a press conference for New York media, followed by a walk-around tasting of twenty-six Spanish wineries heralded as the “New Values of Spanish Wine” as selected by the editors of the Peñín Guide.  Over 200 press and trade participated in the presentation and tasting.
